What Does Your Body Do When You Sleep

joshuababrahams7

When you sleep your body releases hormones which help repair cells and control the body's energy. When you release hormones they heal wounds such as bleeding as they repair blood cells. When you sleep your brain stores new information and gets rid of toxic waste. Nerve cells reorganise themselves and support a healthy brain. Whilst sleeping your breathing, heart rate and blood pressure fluctuate. If you weigh 150 pounds you would loose 46 calories an hour.
