A lot of companies are considering the change to produce electric cars. It is estimated that by 2025 10% of cars will be electric. I think we should look into these 'cars of the future' and see how they work. Electric cars gain power by being plugged into a charge point. The charge point charges the rechargeable batteries that power an electric motor which spins the wheels. Electric cars accelerate faster causing them to feel lighter to drive. The Tesla roadster has a top speed of 250mph. To compare the Lamborghini Aventador can reach speeds of 218mph.
